Warriors point guard Stephen Curry teamed up with Brita on a multi-year endorsement deal in December. On Tuesday, the pair launched Splash Studio, an initiative inviting fans to create an original commercial for water.
The campaign tipped off with an event at MLK Elementary School in Oakland where select students got to pour water over Curry’s head.
“This is important to me,” Curry said. “Water is my drink of choice because I know it is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. Partnering with Brita and a campaign like this is one way I can personally help educate families about the benefits of water.
