OAKLAND -- Mitch Richmond is well aware that his era of playing with the Warriors has been knocked off the mantle.
"I walk around sometimes and people don't know who the heck I am," Richmond, 50, joked Wednesday when he was in town to watch the Warriors face the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series. Before Golden State began this incredible run that included last season's NBA title and this year's record 73 wins, the best period of Warriors basketball over the past several decades had been the Run TMC era that Richmond was a part of from 1989-91.
