According to a report from SNY’s Ian Begley, the Detroit Pistons have their eye on Golden State Warriors assistant general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr.
It’s unclear what position the Pistons are looking at Dunleavy for, since they are revamping their front office. While they don’t officially have a general manager, it would seem likely that Dunleavy wouldn’t be considered for that position, since he’s only spent a year in the assistant general manager ranks.
With that being said, it would seem like the Pistons would have to throw the bag at Dunleavy if they can’t offer him a promotion.
