Looming over a Warriors season that was plenty chaotic already has been the idea that this might be Golden State’s last hurrah. Draymond Green, the defensive anchor who you might remember clocked a teammate to start the year off, has a player option, which means he could become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Klay Thompson has two years left on his deal but notably did not sign an extension last summer even though he was eligible to and hasn’t always been his cult-favorite self since his return from two catastrophic leg injuries.
