The Golden State Warriors are set to begin training camp in just a few days, and they’ll do so with a newly-guaranteed contract: that of center Marquese Chriss.
The Warriors signed Chriss to a two-year, partially-guaranteed contract near the end of the 2019-20 season, with $800,000 guaranteed. But the entire contract has now been guaranteed.
It was pretty much expected, but Marquese Chriss's contract ($1,824,003) is now fully-guaranteed for the season.
He will become a UFA next summer and the Warriors will hold his Early Bird rights allowing them to re-sign him up to an estimated $10.
