OAKLAND – Joe Johnson was a terror for the Utah Jazz in the seven-game opening-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, but against the Warriors, “Iso Joe” got put on ice.
Shutting down Johnson with a variety of defenders was one of the big reasons Golden State rolled to such a comfortable four-game sweep. Throughout the season, when the Jazz needed a big bucket, the 35-year-old swingman was a reliable option, particularly in fourth quarters when he could single up on a defender and find a way to score.
Johnson scored 21 points and hit a game-winning floater in Game 1 against the Clippers.
