Steve Kerr struck gold last season in his first year as head coach of the Golden State Warriors, hiring top-notch assistants that help him masterfully guide his team to a championship.
Not only did he bring in respected and experienced assistants in Alvin Gentry and Ron Adams, but he also filled out his staff with NBA veterans in Luke Walton and Jarron Collins.
With Gentry taking over the New Orleans Pelicans’ head coaching position, Kerr surely has a wealth of options for a replacement at associate coach.
