OAKLAND — As LeBron James was preparing for the start of another Finals in the Bay Area against the Warriors, his home in Los Angeles was found vandalized on Wednesday morning. Police arrived to find a racial slur spray-painted on the front gate.
At the start of his first big Finals press conference on Wednesday afternoon, LeBron took time to address the incident and what it says about the continued race issues in America.
“On the eve of one of the greatest sporting events that we have in sports, race and what’s going on comes again,” LeBron said.
