Golden State Warriors fans have already enjoyed plenty of the suffering the Lakers have dealt with this season, so it’s surely icing on the cake that the latest rumor of Los Angeles’ coaching search is that LeBron James is interested in former Dubs coach, and current ESPN TV analyst, Mark Jackson.
This tidbit comes from Sam Amick of The Athletic, who describes James as “very enthused” at the possibility, according to his sources. That being said, Amick follows up that bit of reporting with, “But as history tells us, that doesn’t mean it will actually happen” — James reportedly wanted Tyronn Lue or Jason Kidd to coach the Lakers instead of Frank Vogel.
