Cavaliers star LeBron James offered an eloquent and pointed reaction Wednesday to the news that his home in Los Angeles was vandalized with a racial slur.
Los Angeles police are investigating the incident, in which an unidentified person reportedly spray-painted the N-word on the front gate of James’ home in the Brentwood neighborhood early Wednesday morning, according to the Associated Press and other media reports.
James wasn’t at the home, but the property manager told officers they believe the incident was captured on surveillance video, according to AP.
Later in the day, James, speaking at Oracle Arena the day before Game 1 of the NBA Finals, addressed the incident.
