LeBron James became the youngest player ever with 30,000 career points, but LaMarcus Aldridge scored 30 to lift host San Antonio over slumping Cleveland 114-102 on Tuesday night.
James, 33 years and 24 days old, had 28 points, but he couldn’t keep the Cavs from dropping their 10th in 13 games.
James rose above Danny Green for a 19-foot jumper with one second left in the first quarter to become the seventh member of the 30,000-point club.
“I don’t ever fully appreciate what I do anytime I accomplish something, no matter if it’s a win or a loss,” James said.
