OAKLAND – Warriors forward Draymond Green is expected to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves Monday evening after missing 13 of the last 15 games with a sprained right toe.
Green – who injured his toe last month – lobbied to return in Friday night’s 105-95 win over the Milwaukee Bucks – even participating in a pregame workout at Fiserv Forum before agreeing to sit out.
Golden State has struggled in Green’s 11-game absence, going 6-5 over the stretch. Green is averaging 6.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.2 assists this season.
