Don’t hand the NBA’s MVP award to James Harden just yet.
While it might be tempting to declare the Rockets star — who is more than deserving — the winner of the trophy with only a third of the season to play, I have a feeling that we’re yet to see the best of Stephen Curry this season.
And while, yes, MVP voting is narrative-driven and hardly an exact science (see: the league’s best player doesn’t always win it), I think you’d be foolish to believe that Curry can’t edge his way back into the MVP conversation — or even find himself at the top of the heap — over the final seven weeks of the season.
