Golden State currently sits two games back of the Houston Rockets for the best record in the NBA, which carries with it home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. That’s a not-so-unimportant privilege that the Warriors have held for the last three seasons, but have decided they have no interest in extending into a fourth year.
