CLEVELAND — The Warriors might have a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, but this series has not been decided yet. If the Cavs claim Game 3, they’re right back in this series.
But in one key way, the Warriors have already won this fight:
Through two games, it’s clear that the Cavs have no defensive answer for Stephen Curry, who is doing an abstract impression of LeBron James right now.
And so long as Curry continues to play like that, the Warriors will control these Finals.
If that doesn’t make him the most valuable player in this series, then we clearly have different definitions of “value”.
