In some ways, I was almost as interested in seeing the Kings last night as in watching the third chapter in the W’s own season.
The changes the Kings have made have been interesting—and all in the defensive direction. (And understandably so given that statistically the Kings had the second worst defensive season in NBA history last year).
They re-signed Richaun Holmes. Added Tristan Thompson. Now start Maurice Harkless alongside Harrison Barnes at forward. Bumped Buddy Hield to the bench in favor of Tyrese Haliburton. Drafted Davion Mitchell.
And then there were the matchups. This season’s Harrison Barnes matched up with Draymond—and on court with Wiggins.
