The Warriors were still waiting Monday night to find out whether or not Klay Thompson’s left hamstring injury will allow him to play in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday.
ESPN reported Thompson hadn’t yet undergone an MRI as of early Monday evening as the test was delayed because the team’s flight didn’t arrive until the early morning hours.
Test results on Thompson’s hamstring should be available later Monday night, according to ESPN.
Nonetheless, there were signs the injury that forced Thompson to miss the final eight minutes of the Warriors’ Game 2 win over the Raptors won’t cause him to miss any time.
