Even though it’s been nearly a year since Klay Thompson left the Golden State Warriors for his new NBA home in Dallas, those close to him are still shocked that he didn’t end up a Laker.
Mychal Thompson, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers and is now a radio broadcaster for the team, went on FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back” daily YouTube show and spoke to hosts Michelle Beadle, Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams about a variety of Lakers topics and also his son, Klay.
At one point in the conversation, Beadle brought up Thompson’s dramatic free agency last summer, when Thompson chose to leave his only NBA home in the Bay Area and stunned many by deciding to go to Dallas.
