The Chicago Bulls used to have an Olympian shooting guard who could go off for 30 on any given night. That was Michael Jordan, over two decades ago. It must be bittersweet for their longtime fans to watch Jordan’s former teammate Steve Kerr grooming another red-hot 2-guard, a man named Klay Thompson, now known as “Hunter of Bulls”.
Thompson lit the Bulls up for 30 points in three quarters last night in Oracle, flying around the court and drilling catch-and-shoot jumpers with gold-blooded accuracy. Thompson finished the bloodbath 10-of-18 from the field, 7-of-11 from beyond the arc.
