Klay Thompson is off to the slowest start of his career, at least when it comes to what he’s best known for: Shooting. 37 games into the season, the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter is making just 34.2% of his threes; for reference, his lowest in any season came in 2012-13, when he still made a whopping 40.1% of his triples.
Despite hoisting 7.4 triples a game, the four-time All-Star has failed to make a single three in six different games, and made only one deep ball in nine contests. It’s not what we’re used to seeing.
