The Golden State Warriors have a two-year contract offer on the table for Klay Thompson ahead of his upcoming free agency, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
During a Thursday appearance on The Hoop Collective, MacMahon revealed that "we've heard its a two-year offer" (30:25 mark). He added that the duration of the deal could mean more to Thompson than the price, explaining that "it's as much about years as dollars in some of these cases."
Monte Poole of NBC Sports previously reported on Monday that the veteran is searching for a contract that lasts "at least three years.
