PHILADELPHIA — Amid the Warriors’ quest to minimize any ailments or fatigue their core players toward the end of the regular season, both Klay Thompson (right knee soreness) and Kevon Looney (right pelvic soreness) will sit out when the Warriors (43-19) visit the Philadelphia 76ers (40-22) in a nationally televised game on Saturday.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr sensed that injuries to Thompson and Looney are “hopefully short term” considering both players participated in morning shootaround on Saturday.
