Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson liked it better when Steph Curry was shooting three-pointers for his team rather than against it.
"It hurts to be on the other side of one of his flurries," Thompson said after the Golden State Warriors opened NBA Cup group stage play with a 120-117 win over the Mavs (h/t ESPN's Kendra Andrews.) "Guy got hot at the end and made some ridiculous shots. I know I've been on the other end, and it sucks."
Curry scored the Warriors' last 12 points, including a three-pointer from 28 feet out in the final 30 seconds of the victory.
