Klay Thompson needed only nine fully functioning fingers to rack up 22 points in the Warriors' comeback win Tuesday over the Utah Jazz.
Early in the game, Thompson's left hand collided with Donovan Mitchell's side, possibly getting caught in the Jazz star's jersey. The impact caused his ring finger to bend backward in an unnatural way.
TV announcers described the finger as jammed, but judging from the hard left turn it was taking in relation to his other fingers, dislocation also seemed a possibility.
Klay walked off the court and was escorted to the locker room, where his twisted finger was treated and taped up.
