OAKLAND — Klay Thompson emerged out of the trainer’s room and walked to the interview table at a brisk pace. The Warriors’ guard then offered encouraging news about his previously sore right knee and if he can play when the Warriors (44-20) host the Denver Nuggets (43-21) on Friday at Oracle Arena.
“It’s good,” Thompson said. “Good to go. Just got to keep it moving. Mobility is good.”
Thompson missed the past two games, which included a comeback win in Philadelphia and a 33-point blowout loss to Boston that marked the most lopsided defeat in the Steve Kerr era.
