Klay Thompson has yet to play in the same NBA game as Juan Toscano-Anderson, but when it came time to support his fellow teammate, there was no hesitation.
Toscano-Anderson, of course, helped organize a peaceful protest around Lake Merritt in Oakland last week, and several members of the Warriors joined him in supporting the cause of fighting systemic racism. Thompson was among them, but only after completing a rapid round trip.
"The plane landed at some destination on the West Coast where Klay Thompson and a bunch of people had planned to convene," The Athletic's Marcus Thompson wrote Tuesday.
