OAKLAND–Klay Thompson strolled over to our table set-up at the Warriors practice site, chuckled a bit, sat down, and was happy to chat about anything and everything with wry humor and total perspective. As Marcus Thompson II and I discussed after Thompson left the chair, that quiet, occasionally terse Klay we knew in his first two years in the NBA sure has grown to be comfortable in his high place in the sports universe and now actually quite loose and chatty.
This is a good thing for anybody who likes learning about the Warriors, the NBA, and the experience of both from a very talented 26-year-old’s point of view.
