The Warriors returned to their homebase, Chase Center, to battle the shamelessly tanking Houston Rockets on Friday night. Coming off a demoralizing loss to the Lakers, the stage was set for the Warriors to redeem themselves against their meek opponent, and that’s just what they did. Thanks primarily to their very own Batman, Klay Thompson, the Warriors brought a little light back to the Gotham City-esque alleyway that has been the Warriors’ 2022/2023 season.
The first quarter was not encouraging for the shorthanded Warriors. They entered the contest down three starters (some would argue their three best players) in Steph, Wiggins, and Draymond.
