An ugly loss for the Golden State Warriors stung a little more late in the fourth quarter against the Kings on Sunday, when the Sacramento faithful who made the trip down Interstate 80 broke out the “Light the beam” chant several times at Chase Center.
The Kings crushed the Warriors 129-99 on Sunday night, even with All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox out with a glute contusion. Kings fans brought out the chant at several instances during the final quarter, but the chant was clearly audible on the Warriors broadcast around the midway point of the fourth.
