Kevin Durant didn’t consider how the NBA would respond to his relocation to the Warriors, but he still has some thoughts on what that move did to the league.
In a recent conversation with ESPN’s Cari Champion, Durant gave his take on the NBA “weapons race” — as Rockets GM Daryl Morey put it — happening this summer after Golden State’s dominant title run.
“Our team now, the way we play, we’re forcing the league to get back to skilled players. Like, forcing guys to be able to dribble, pass, shoot,” Durant told Champion.
