Kevin Durant to Sit Out Today’s Game Against the Clippers

Durant fell awkwardly trying to make a play against Dallas in the first quarter Wednesday night’s 125-122 win over the Mavericks. He tweaked his calf on the play, but he was able to finish the game playing 38 minutes and racking up 25 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks.

It made sense for Steve Kerr to hold Durant out of the lineup the following night as the Warriors traveled to Houston for the second game of a back-to-back. However, the former MVP will also be on the bench for Saturday afternoon’s game against the Clippers as he continues to nurse that sore calf.
