OKLAHOMA CITY -- Going with its traditional big lineup led the Thunder to a 108-102 victory in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals. Pulling a complete-180 in Game 3, Oklahoma City cruised to 133-105 win by beating the Warriors at their own game, utilizing a small-ball lineup for over 18 minutes Sunday.
That small lineup, which mostly consisted of Russell Westbrook, Dion Waiters, Andre Roberson, Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka, outscored the Warriors 73-36 in Game 3.Whether Thunder coach Billy Donovan stays small, goes back to his traditional lineup highlighted by a big, dynamic frontcourt or uses both throughout Game 4 remains in question.
