Kevin Durant questionable for Game 2 against Blazers with left calf strain

OAKLAND — Warriors forward Kevin Durant missed practice on Tuesday with a left calf strain and is questionable for Game 2 on Wednesday night against the Blazers.

Durant suffered the injury during the second half of Game 1, grabbing at his leg a few times in the third quarter, but remained in the game and closed strong, nailing two late jumpers to cap off his 32-point performance. But he didn’t practice on Tuesday.

“If he didn’t practice, there’s concern,” Steve Kerr said. “He’s questionable.”

Kerr said the expectation is that Durant will return rather quickly, but “you have to be careful” with muscle strains like this.
