NBA free agents Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard have reportedly "been discussing scenarios" that would allow them to join forces and sign with the same team in the coming days.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne reported that Durant and Leonard have been in communication, and the two teams they could possibly sign with are the Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks, since both teams are in a position to take on two max contracts.
According to the report, the Brooklyn Nets "could conceivably house both," but the organization is currently focused on point guard Kyrie Irving.
