Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant went to the locker room during Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards after suffering a knee injury, per Ethan Strauss of ESPN.com.
The Warriors later announced he will have an MRI on his hyperextended left knee and will not return.
The forward suffered the injury after Zaza Pachulia fell into his knee. He took only one shot in two minutes of game time before leaving the floor.
Durant is in his first season with the Warriors after famously picking Golden State over the Oklahoma City Thunder and others during the offseason.
