We all know the story: Kevin Durant‘s Oklahoma City Thunder blew a 3-1 lead against the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, and then KD decided to join Golden State in free agency after they lost to the Cavs in the NBA Finals.
Durant has taken the Warriors’ dynasty to a new level.
They’ve been pretty dominant during his two year tenure in Golden State, and they are heavy favorites to win their third title in a row this season.
The basketball world has been unrelenting in their criticism of KD’s decision in free agency, and Clyde Frazier decided to chime in with comments regarding Durant’s legacy:
“Durant, as great a player he is, I would still hold back (giving him credit) because he joined a team that really didn’t need him,” Frazier said Tuesday on SiriusXM NBA Radio as recorded by the New York Daily News‘ Stefan Bondy.
