At long last, Golden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant has shared his reason for using burner social media accounts.
While appearing on the ESPN+ show "The Boardroom," former basketball player and ESPN basketball analyst Jay Williams asked Durant, "Can you break down the burner account for me? Because it broke the Internet."
Williams was referring to the revelation of Durant's use of a Twitter account other than his @KDTrey5 handle, after he accidentally used his public account to trash Billy Donovan and his teammates from his days playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder. After the incident, Durant said in a GQ profile that he was groggy, and that's why that happened.
