The erstwhile Warrior is changing numbers. No. 35 is out. No. 7 is in. As no Nets player currently lays claim to No. 35, this represents a change for change’s sake. A new beginning.
We know what you’re thinking: It is interesting that the Warriors retired Durant’s 35 before Durant did.
Give Durant credit, his announcement was conciliatory.
