OAKLAND – Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has enjoyed an MVP-caliber year this season, posting career highs in points (27.2) rebounds (10.2), and field goal percentage (53.3).
Now, with the Bucks making their only appearance at Oracle Arena Thursday night, Kevin Durant has taken notice of the Greek forward’s progress.
“It’s exciting for me to play one of the best players in the league,” Durant said following Thursday’s shootaround. “Someone who has ascended into that rank of being one of the best players in the league. I think his peers really enjoy playing with him because he brings that intensity.
