A week without games might not be such a bad deal, after all.
After getting a clearer handle on how he’ll schedule the week, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said Monday that he values the time off and the chance it gives his team to reflect on such a historic regular season.
The Warriors had a short, crisp practice Monday, mostly skill work and shooting. They’ll scrimmage Tuesday and take Wednesday off. They’ll start prepping for their Western Conference semifinal opponent as soon as Memphis or Portland clinches.
If the Grizzlies-Blazers series concludes in six games or fewer, the Warriors’ next round will begin Sunday.
