In a civil suit filed against the University of Vermont, Lamb is accused of raping former Vermont swimmer Kendall Ware. Ware alleges that Lamb raped her at an off-campus house party. She has spoken publicly about her experience with a "men's basketball player" for months but did not specifically name Lamb until the suit was filed. Lamb himself is not named as a defendant in the case.
