Kendrick Nunn continues to make case for 2-way contract

The 6-foot-3 combo guard out of Oakland University (Michigan) scored a game-high 18 points for the Golden State Warriors on Friday, opening the 2018 MGM Resorts Las Vegas Summer League with a narrow 77-71 GSW win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Friday night’s game was just the first of three scheduled preliminary contests for the Dubs. They’ll play again on Sunday, June 9 against the Houston Rockets, followed by a game against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, July 9.

Considering how this win is just their most recent in a string of Summer League victories, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dubs end up with the first seed in the Vegas tournament starting July 11.
