Keeping Kevon (Free Agency Recap, Part 2 of Many)

This is part 2 of Fast Break’s free agency recap series. Last time around, we covered the arrival of D’Angelo Russell and domino effect that had on the makeup of the Warriors’ roster. In particular, we focused in on the hard cap and how it forced the Warriors to part ways with Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Quinn Cook, and DeMarcus Cousins (not to mention Jonas Jerebko). One name shockingly absent from that list of casualties was Kevon Looney, who was miraculously resigned to a reported 3 year, $15 million contract that had myself and probably most of Warriors Twitter breathing heavy sighs of relief.
