The Golden State Warriors have brought rookie Jonathan Kuminga back to the active roster after they assigned him to their G-League affiliate (Santa Cruz Warriors) for a game on Saturday. Kuminga played 35 minutes in Santa Cruz’s 104-92 loss to the Stockton Kings, scoring 15 points on 4-for-13 shooting from the field while recording six rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, five turnovers, and five fouls.
Kuminga was the seventh overall pick in this year’s draft but is expected to take a significant amount of time developing his game. Despite his inefficient offensive production and struggles limiting fouls and turnovers, Kuminga still gives Dubs Nation reason to believe he can become an impactful NBA player.
