The Golden State Warriors have been hit hard by the injury bug this year, and Saturday night provided yet another hit. Late in the second quarter of their game against the Memphis Grizzlies, fourth-year forward Jonathan Kuminga hit the deck after rolling his ankle under the hoop. Kuminga immediately motioned to the bench, stood up, and limped his way straight to the locker room where he remained until halftime. He was followed by team trainer Rick Celebrini.
It’s not yet clear if Kuminga will return to the game, though it seems unlikely. We’ll update this story as the team provides updates.
