The ongoing saga between the Golden State Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga has gone from coach Steve Kerr benching Kuminga entirely for three straight games, including in Game 1, to launching him into the starting lineup for Game 3.
Kuminga will take Jimmy Butler's starting spot, as Butler has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Rockets. ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Kuminga was expected to take Butler's place around 30 minutes before the official announcement.
