OAKLAND -- The Rev. Jesse Jackson, so accustomed to rancor during his decades as a civil rights activist and politician, thinks there's something unifying in Warriors point guard Stephen Curry.
Jackson sees it even in his own household. "If a basketball was flat, my wife wouldn't know it. But she knows Stephen Curry," Jackson, 74, said with a laugh while standing courtside before Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday."He has done something special for the game. He represents a kind of childhood-looking innocence and strength of character that makes us all feel better about the game.
