Jeremy Lin — the Palo Alto native of "Linsanity" fame — is reportedly rejoining the Golden State Warriors, the team that gave him his first shot in the NBA.
League insider Shams Charania reported Friday morning that Lin was "finalizing a deal with" Golden State pending a letter of clearance from the Chinese Basketball Association. Lin joined the CBA after receiving minimal interest in free agency in the summer of 2019, and The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported that Lin will not be on Golden State's 15-man roster, but rather will join the Santa Cruz Warriors (the organization's G League affiliate) on an Exhibit 10 contract as he works towards his NBA return.
