Utah Jazz point guard George Hill will not play in Game 2 against the Warriors Thursday night due to a toe injury.
The team confirmed that Hill, who averaged 16.9 points and 4.1 assists in 49 games in the regular season, is out with left big toe soreness.
“If you take your point guard off your team that’s a position that is very difficult to replace on a lot of levels,” Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said. “You miss a lot. You miss his offense, you miss his shooting, you miss his scoring.”
“You miss everything, from his scoring to his defense to his rebounding.
