Jason Kidd is something of a legend in Northern California. He grew up in the Bay Area, and was a superstar at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda. He then played two seasons at Cal, where he was a first-team All-American as a sophomore.

Speaking to Yahoo! Finance about a recent app investment, Kidd - who coached the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks after his Hall of Fame playing career - revealed a desire to take his coaching back to his roots.
